Wade Engineering began as Iron Founders, quickly developing into general engineers in the late 1950's. At this stage, the company specialized in the manufacture of power transmission equipment, and was a major supplier of vee pulleys and flywheels in New Zealand.
The business was established and operated at premises at what later became Foundry Road, Silverdale. Foundry road is now the busy industrial centre of the Hibiscus Coast area, just north of Auckland. |
